16 Thing We Girls May Not Notice About Guys

16 things girls dont notice.

Body: all of this is absolutly true, everything in it, so ladies just think about what this says.

YOU HAVE to read all of them and if you don't you're going to come across problems in you're relationship for the next month!

1) Guys may be flirting around all day, but before they go to sleep they always think about the girl they truly care about

2) Guys are more emotional then you think if they loved you at one point it takes them a lot longer then you think to let you go, and it hurts every second that they arent with you

3) Guys go crazy over a girl's smile (:

4) A guy who likes you wants to be the only guy you talk to

5) Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what uh...never mind....." would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are
thinking and he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll
obsess about it trying to figure it out

6) If a guy tells you about his problems, he just needs someone to listen to him. you don't need to give advice

7) A usual act that proves that the guy likes you is when he teases you.

8) GUYS LOVE YOU MORE THEN YOU LOVE THEM!

9) Guys use words like hot or cute to describe girls. They rarely use
beautiful or gorgeous. If a guy uses that, he loves you or likes you a
whole heck of a lot.

10) If the guy does something stupid in front of the girl,
he will think about it for the next couple days or until the next
time he spends time with you

11) When a guy looks at you for longer than a second, he's definitely thinking something

12)A guy would give the world to be able to read a girl's mind for a day

13)No guy can handle all his problems on his own He's just too stubborn to admit it

14)NOT ALL GUYS ARE RUDE! Just because ONE is RUDE doesn't mean he represents ALL of them

15) WHEN A GUY SACRIFICES HIS SLEEP AND HEALTH JUST TO TALK TO YOU, HE REALLY LIKES YOU AND WANTS TO BE WITH YOU AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

16) Even if you dump a guy months ago and he loved you he probably still does and if he had one wish it would be you to come back into his life

-Everything said in this note is true

-Ladies, if u don't repost this within 1 hr then you will lose the guy of your dreams

-Guys, if you don't repost this in 1 hr then you will lose the girl of your life

I Miss You...

This goes to my friend, Josh, 'cause I know he's having a hard time and one day, his luck will run out....

I Miss You

So here we go
My friend is dead
Took a gun to his head
Couldn't take all the rumors
Or his body filled with tumors
Couldn't take the crap
People were saying about his rap
He took the knife
Cutting himself to feel alright
How could he not know that
There were some that cared?!?
There were those
That dared
To love him and his flaws
Both the big and the small
Did he not care?
He could have told others
That his pain was too much to bear
Why didn't he?!?
Why couldn't he see
How much he meant to me?!?
But then he'll never understand
What he means to me
He's way to blind to see
That his pain was killing me
Inside and out
I wanted to help...
I want to scream!
Someone please tell me this is a dream!
I wish he were still here
So I could hold him near
To take away all his pain
To tell him I miss him
Even if it's in vain.
I know I'll miss him like hell
That angel who went and fell
I only hope he's happy now
And is finally free
And hopes he finally figures out
How much he means to me
But this is not the end
He will always be my friend
He'll live in my heart forever
I promise to forget him never
And maybe one day
We'll meet again
That funny guy..
My true friend..
I miss you...

Slipping Under

Slipping Under by Natalie Lynne Gallant

I'm slipping under,
More each and everyday.
I'm slipping under,
Can't get away.
I can't reach the surface,
No matter how hard I try.
I can't reach the surface,
I just want to die.
I can't get a breath,
My air has all left.
I'm giving up.
I'm ready to die,
Down here on the sand where I lie.
Too many burdens to carry,
Too many I want to bury.
I'm tired of fighting,
Tired of the lying....
When really inside,
I'm dying....
I feel the tears run down my face
Coming out of some big empty space
There's no more smile
It's gone like the sun on a sun dial
All I have is hurt and pain
Nothing to lose,
Nothing to gain...
I'm finally done
Walking away into the fading sun...forever..

My Picture Of Heaven

My Picture Of Heaven

It's as silent as a grave. In fact, it's so quiet, I can hear my thoughts echo in my brain... I slowly open my eyes, not knowing where I am, and glance around. I'm in a long, white room, the walls stretching on for eternity. There is nothing else in the room, just space. Suddenly, the wall in front of me lights up like a movie theater. It is a movie of a baby being born and I start to close my eyes, but stop. There is a woman in the picture that I recognize. Her face is much younger, clouded with pain, yet still recognizable. It is my real mom, Lori, and she is giving birth to me. The picture fascinated me. It switched again. I now saw my parents, they're arms outstretched to hold a tiny bundle. I realized again, that the bundle was me! Had I really been that small? The picture always changed, always showing me in my past... Some of the pictures made me laugh, others cry, but all were of me in my past. But, then came the pictures introducing my pre-teen years. It showed me, tomboy-ish with scars and baggy clothes. It showed me getting glasses and my thoughts about that came out of invisible speakers. It showed my first fight, my first award, my first everything. But, then the pictures changed. They were still of me in my pre-teen years, but now, they showed pain and anger. Then the pictures, switched. It showed me on my first day of high school. I once again felt all the emotions that I felt that day. The fear, the anxiousness, the sadness, and hope washed over me again in waves. I once again saw the people I've gone to school with since I can remember. I re-acted that day through this strange movie screen. I saw myself walking around aimlessly, looking for my classes and seeing my old group of friends again. Saw what I did each day over again; heard every word I spoke all over again. Most of the stuff that happened made me disappointed. Who was this girl with the glasses and the makeup, trying to be some one else? I certainly didn't recognize her. She was as unknown to me as the formula for pie was. "How had I become this?!?" I thought to myself.....I saw me influencing the younger kids with my words and actions; both were not right...This person I saw in the movie made me frustrated, even angry. The girl in the movie came off as arrogant and rebellious; something I never realized I was. The pictures got worse, more rebellious and worse in behavior. "This can't possibly be me!" I cried to myself over and over again and yet, I knew the truth: This person was me. Not the one today at present but the one in the past. The pictures angered me and I hit the screen desperate to turn the movie off. It stayed on. I cried out, begging who ever it was that ran the movie to shut it down. Yet, it still prevailed. I hit it again, hoping that maybe I could break the screen and it would stop, but my punches meant nothing. I fell to my knees, sobbing. "Why am I being put through this? I didn't ask for this!" I thought to myself as my sobs continued to pour out..... I once again looked at the screen and noticed something I hadn't before: a signature. It was there, in the lower right corner. I slowly rose and peered at it. "No! This isn't right!" I practically screamed. It was Satan's signature there, announcing his claim over me. I ran my hand over the signature, desperately trying to erase it. It didn't disappear as I had hoped. It stayed there, staring me in the face, taunting me, breaking down what courage I had left. I had always said I was a christian, but how many times had I acted on it and proclaimed it out loud? Not many I realized. The meaning of the signature sent a shiver up my spine. I started to shake uncontrollably, unable to stop. I once again, fell onto my knees weeping. I remained like that for who knows how long: a statue frozen by her sin. Suddenly, the pictures stopped and disappeared and in it's place popped up a table with two clipboards on it. I didn't move, unsure of what to do, scared of what I might find. After finally working up the courage, I crept up to the table and looked at the clipboards. The first's title read " PEOPLE I'VE INFLUENCED" in big, bold letters while the other one said "People I've witnessed to" in such small letters that I had to squint to read it. The first was about three to four pages long and I recognized almost every name on it. The other one on the other hand, was one page long and barely had any names on it. I looked at it and felt my face begin to burn as the tears welled up in my eyes. Was this really my life story? It didn't have any accomplishes, only mistakes. Why? Why didn't I believe? But, that's just it, I realized. I did believe. Just not enough to make something of my life. I started to cry again but this time I tried to hide the tears. This was my fault, after all, wasn't it? My decisions led me to this. No one else could have made me do what I did. My world suddenly spun and I grabbed onto the table for support as I fell to my knees for the third time since I had come to this room. I bit my lip, determined to keep my tears in check, but try as I might, they just wouldn't obey. As they silently slid down my cheeks, I noticed I wasn't alone anymore. He stood there, staring at me with a sad face. I glanced at him and then quickly hid my face. Why was he here?!? How could he look at me? I was nothing. No one special. I didn't deserve to see him. So then, why was he here? I peeked up from under my arm at him but he was no longer looking at me. He was staring at the clipboards and the movie screen with a thoughtful expression. He startled me by suddenly walking closer to the screen and staring at it as if it would reveal some secret to him. Then he reached down to the table and picked up a red pen and started to sign his name over the signature in the corner. I watched, fascinated. What in the world was he doing?!? No, he couldn't be...could he? The questions ran through my brain like a train. He was! He was claiming me and the red ink was his blood! "NO!" I screamed, forcing myself up while tripping over my feet. I ran to him and quickly grabbed the pen from his hand. l stared at him, horrified. He shouldn't do this, couldn't. I wouldn't let him. I wasn't worth it I tried to tell him, yet he just gave me a small, sad smile and pulled the pen from my enclosed fingers. He turned away and continued signing over the evil signature, making me his own. I watched him, the tears again sliding down my cheeks, like little race cars seeing who can escape my eyes fastest. I dropped to the floor like a weight and put my head on my knees, unable to control my tears any longer. It seemed like forever till he was done. I didn't look up as he put the pen back onto the table and then reached down to pull me up. I shuddered at his touch. I didn't deserve this; to be one of his own, to have his love, to be touched by him. He gently pulled me to my feet and held me in his arms while wiping my tears away like an old grandfather helping his hurt grandchild after falling down. After my eyes had stopped, at least for the moment, he took my hand and pulled me to a door across the room. As I walked to eternity, I threw one more glance back to my life and what was now my past, and then walked with my King into the future.

The Ocean My Home

The Ocean My Home

I glimpse the ocean from the bend in the mountain road and my spirits lift but not enough to make a difference. We continue driving and my foot taps the floor impatiently. Where sleep had just called me like a owner to it's dog, it was gone now. The thought of feeling the sand between my bare toes has made me alert and ready. I've wanted to go to the beach for some time since I've returned to my bright and sunny home, but every time my family and I plan on going, my home turns cold and dark. Not right for a perfect beach day. Today we decided to go ahead and risk it. Who cares about the cold, right? We're driving parrel to the water now, and I crane my neck over my brother to see the water better. The water rises and falls like white clouds on a pure blue sky. The water is choppy and comes up high as it rises but it doesn't scare me. Maybe it is frustrated as well? It's probaly tired of being taken for granted and therefore It hurls it's wrath at the shore. Oh, how I wish I could be like the ocean. To release my anger and not get reprimanded or questioned for it. We finally stop and I swing the door open, the wind screaming in my face. I stand up only to be pushed back down by the angry, invisible force. "So much for a bright and perfect day." I think drearily to myself as I slowly push myself back up. I stand up again and gently touch the door to close it only to be assisted by the angry hand of the wind. I stand and look out at the ocean, the wind whipping my hair into my face like a shield. My family and I slowly start walking toward the shore, making slow progress but making progress all the same. The wind screams it's curses at us and grabs at us trying to stop us from taking another step toward it's precious cargo, the sea. The sand shares in the wind's mood. Always letting us down when we think it's hard enough to support us. " The sand's as indecisive as the wind." I think to myself as I trudge along. "It doesn't know whether to hold us up or to continue letting us down.". The wind stops for a minute and my tangled hair drifts back to my face, merging and tangling with my glasses. I take off my glasses and put up my hood to take some of the brunt of the wind. We slowly walk along, each in our own thoughts, sand pelting our backs like hail. Here was where I could forget about everything. All the problems in my life, all the worries, all the drama. Everything. Everything disappeared when I came here like it never existed. I stopped, closed my eyes, and took a deep breath. The salty air filled my nostrils, burned my lungs. The smell was both disgusting and yet, intoxicating. I had always been known as a natural borne fish and coming back to the beach always refreshed me. I could go to it on the coldest of days and still feel refreshed and love it. It relaxed me and I wouldn't trade it for the world. It was another sort of home. I would live and breath the water if I could. Being in the water was as natural to me as breathing. Nothing was better than swimming. I open my eyes and follow my parents back to the car, my brother beside me. My music pounds in my ears, some rock song following the beat of the waves against the shore. As we drive away, I look out onto the ocean, willing it to be in my view for as long as possible. The water waves goodbye to me, it's big piles of seaweed drifting closer and yet, so far away. As we round the bend in the mountain, the ocean vanishes from view and I slowly turn around. Back to the same old life. My distraction, my refreshment lasting a total hour and a half. And yet, I know it's back there, waiting for me to come back and get my daily dose of medicine. And as we drive away in our car, I can faintly hear the wind whisper" I'm sorry.

My Old Friend

My Old Friend by Natalie Lynne Gallant

Hey, do you remeber me?
I've known you since I was ten plus three
You were my best friend
You always had a hand to lend
But you weren't always right for me
You often made me see what you wanted me to see
You always directed my path
If I ever strayed,
You showed me your wrath
You always had plans for MY day
If I objected,
You had something to say
You sometimes gave me things I didn't need
Like alcohol, cigerattes, even weed.
I didn't really take them,
Just made you think so.
Who knew you'd stoop so low?
You were evil and cruel
Using me as some kind of tool
Trying to make me take your side
No wonder you lied!
But now we're through
I'm finally free of you
I'm off to live my life
There'll be no more of your strife
I'm making my own choices
I'm getting advice from good sources
No more of your plans, lies, or tricks.
My life is forever fixed
Now there's no more you
I won't do what you want me to
I just want to say one thing to you
Thank you for shaping me into someone new
I'm free to be who I want to be
So thank you... My old friend

My Girl

My Girl by Natalie Lynne Gallant

I'll comfort you when your sad.
We'll do places and have lots of fun
When we're in trouble,
Together we'll be on the run
When your happy
You know I'll be happy too
With you,
There's nothing I can't do
Your my sis till the end
I promise to give you all the strength I can lend
Your my girl and my sister too
But most of all,
Your my friend that's why I love you!

Without Cell Phones

I wrote this in journalism in 9th grade. Hope you like it!

Without Cell Phones

If you look around today, you see that almost every person on campus has a cell phone. They're good for texting and the occasional check- ins with mom and dad, but otherwise we use them for our own pleasure. Some people who have cell phones think they are annoying while others love them. But what about the few people that don't have cell phones? How do they feel about the new age technology that's over running our minds and our schools? Today, cell phones are necessary for checking in with the parents plus a close group of friends. But other than that, is a cell phone really necessary? Do we really need to watch television or go on the Internet to check our email every five minutes just to see who's emailing who? Do we really need that? We already do that at home. What about the people that text all 24 hours of the day? Is it really worth your time? I can understand texting someone you haven't seen or talked to in a couple months or even years, but what about texting someone you just saw a few minutes before? Is time too fast for you that you have to text them a few minutes after you saw them? I use to have a cell phone but could only use it to check in with Mom and Dad so therefore, I considered it useless. I mean, what good is a phone if you can't call your friends on it, right? That was two years ago. Now, in high school and seeing my friends on their phones texting for hours upon end, I feel much different about it. To me, cell phone have become worthless. They take up your time and brainwash you. Cell phones used to be used for just calling the parents. Now they're used for everything such as watching television or surfing the web, things we use to do at home. Cell phones have taken over our lives and we don't even realize it. Why, you may ask? Because, cell phones become addicting. Just like T.V. or a good book. They draw you in and make it so that you forget everything that's happening around you. It makes it so that you can only focus on the small electronic device in your hand while using the other hand to tell your best friend everything she missed that day. Again, how, you may ask? Easy. We buy the "small" device thinking that we're only going to use it for the small group of friends and the parents. But, then, after awhile, your "small" group of friends expand and you end up making more calls and texting more than you ever thought possible. Then, without thinking about it, your cell phone has taken up every minute of every hour of your time. Thus, ending with you being endlessly being brainwashed. I believe cell phones are good as long as they're used for the right purposes and with a limited amount of time. But, using a phone just to text and call every one of your friends just to let them know about all the drama that went on at lunch today, is a bit much, don't you think? For me, getting a cell phone is scary! The thought of sitting down, doing nothing but text horrifies me. I wouldn't want to do that even if I was handed a free cell phone with unlimited minutes. I use to want a cell phone just so I could "FIT IN", but now I have no desire for a cell phone, no matter how good it is. I personally do not want to spend my time sitting down exercising my fingers when I could be doing something more important like homework or playing sports. For me, I am content as I am, cell phone less and texting free

I Love You And Goodbye

I love you and goodbye

I went to a birthday party,
And remembered what you said
You told me not to drink at all,
So I had a Sprite instead.
I felt proud of myself,
The way you said I would,
That I didn't choose to drink and drive,
Though some friends said I should.
I knew I made a healthy choice and,
Your advice to me was right,
As the party finally ended,
And the kids drove out of sight.
I got into my ow n car,
Sure to get home in one piece,
Never knowing what was coming,
Something I expected least.
Now I'm lying on the pavement,
And I hear the policeman say,
The kid that caused this wreck
was drunk."
His voice seems far away.
My own blood is all
around me,
As I try hard not to cry.
I can hear the paramedic say,
"This girl is going to die."
I'm sure the guy had no idea,
While he was flying high,
Because he chose to drink and drive,
That I would have to die.
So why do people do it,
Knowing that it ruins lives?
But now the pain is cutting me ,
Like a hundred stabbing knives
Tell sister not to be afraid, Mom
Tell daddy to be brave,
And when I go to heaven,
Put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave.
Someone should have taught him,
That it's wrong to drink and drive.
Maybe if his mom and dad had,
I'd still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter,
I'm getting really scared.
These are my final moments,
And I'm so unprepared.
I wish that you could hold me Mom,

As I lie here and die.

I wish that I could say,
I love you and good-bye.

When I Say I'm A Christian

When I say "I am a Christian" by Carol S. Wimmer

When I say "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I was lost"
That is why I chose his way

When I say"I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride
I'm confessing that I stumble
Needing God as my guide

When I say"I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong
I'm professing that I'm weak
And pray for strength to carry on

When I say"I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
Which is why I speak His name

When I say"I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge
I don't have the authority
I only know I'm loved.

This Should Get You Thinking...

This Should Get You Thinking

This is a true story of something that just happened a few years ago at USC. There was a professor of philosopy there who was a deeply commited atheist. His primary goal for one required class was to spend the entire semester to prove that God couldn't exist. His students were always afraid to argue with him because of his impeccable logic...Sure, some had argued in class at times, but no one had really gone against him because of his reputation. At the end of every semester on the last day, he would say to his class of 300 students" If there is anyone here who still believes in Jesus, stand up!" In twenty years, no one had ever stood up. They knew what he was going to do next. He would say"Because anyone who believes in God is a fool! If God existed, He could stop this piece of chalk from hitting the ground and breaking. Such a simple task to prove that He is God, and yet He can't do it." And every year, he would drop the chalk onto the tile floor of the classroom. And it would shatter into a hundred pieces. All of the students would do nothing but stop and stare. Most of the students thought that God couldn't exist. Certainly, a number of Christians had slipped through, but for 20 years, they had been too afraid to stand up. Well, a few years ago there was a freshman who happened to enroll. He was a christian and had heard stories about his professor. He was required to take the class for his major, and he was afraid. But for three months that semester, he prayed every morning that he would have courage to stand up no matter what the professor said, or what the class thought. Nothing they said could ever shatter his faith...hopefully. Finally the day came. The professor said" If there is anyone here who still believes in God, stand up" The professor and the class of 300 people looked at him, shocked, as he stood up at the back of the classroom. The professor shouted "YOU FOOL!!! If God existed, he would keep this piece of chalk from breaking when it hit the ground." He proceded to drop the chalk but as he did, it slipped out of his fingers, off his shirt cuff, onto the pleat of his pants, down the leg, and off his shirt. As it hit the ground, it simply rolled away unbroken. The professor's jaw dropped as he stared at the chalk. He looked up at the young man, and then ran out of the lecture hall. The young, who had stood, proceeded to walk to the front of the room and shared his faith in Jesus for the next half hour. 300 students stayed and listened as he told of God's love for them and his power through Jesus. You have 2 choices. 1. PRETEND YOU NEVER READ THIS or 2. PASS THIS ALONG TO YOUR CHRISTIAN AND NON-CHRISTIAN FRIENDS, giving them encouragement we all need every day. When you choose option 2, you have chosen to STAND UP. In light of the many jokes we tell to one another for a laugh, this is a little different. This is not intended to be a joke, it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking....Isnt it funny how simple it is for people to trash God then wonder why the world's going to hell. Isn't it funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but what the Bible says. Isn't it funny how everyone wants to go to hell provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or anything the Bible says? Or is it scary? Isn't it funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan(who, by the way, also, "believes" in God) Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through email and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Isn't it funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but the public discussion of Jesus is suppressed in the school and workplace? Isn't it funny how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday but be an invisible Christian the rest of week? Are you laughing? Isn't it funny how when you go to tell someone this, won't because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for telling them? Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me?
WILL YOU PASS THIS ON?

All I Really Need

All I really need by Natalie Lynne Gallant

I wrote this for a friend.

ALL I REALLY NEED
So I have a little story that I must tell
It's about someone who was in love but fell
She knew the guy from High school
Back then he was just a fool
He is very tall and sorta lean
To me, He's the most amazing guy I've ever seen
So, I liked him for a couple of years,
Never told him though because of our peers
Then I got the courage and told him one night
I ws scared to death that we were gonna fight
But he said that was cool
and even "I like you too"
We didn't date 'cause I wasn't allowed
But we got to know each other and I was like "WOW!"
"This guy is perfect! He's gotta be the one!
Maybe my searching is finally done"
But then I went and made a stupid mistake
One that was more than I could take
I was afriad he'd leave; I was afraid he'd be gone
I prayed to God that I was wrong
And it seemed at first,
Like it was that way
It seemed like he was gonna stay
But then he went and said those six little words,
"I've lost my feelings for you"
OW! That really hurt
But I acted cool and said "ok"
"It wasn't meant to be" was what I wanted to say
But I couldn't get the words out of my mouth
They seemed to have all gone down south
But, please don't feel bad
It's ok
Maybe we'll look at this
And laugh one day
At least, I still have him as a friend
Don't worry about it
My broken heart will mend
Yes, I love him and always will
I made a pact with God, a secret deal
That he'll be alright and
Not worry about it
He'll find someone who will hopefully fit
That he'll go and live a happy life
One without issues and all the strife
But, I'm gonna go and be ok
My love for him,
I will not say
I have him as a friend
And that's all I really need

Twilight

Twilight by Natalie Lynne Gallant

I was thinking of Twilight and got this out of it....

People keep telling me your not good for me,
But I don't care
Their opinions I can bear
But now, you've left and gone away
I really don't have a clue what to say
I'm filled with pain
It pratically drives me insane
How could you think you were hurting me?!?
Why can't you see,
That you leaving is what's hurting me?
I was safe with you here
I felt no fear
You being so powerful and strong,
I really can't believe your gone.
How could you do this to me?!?
Didn't you know this is supposed to be?!?
That our love is supposed to exist?!?
It's not really something you can miss
I want to be with you forever
My relationship with you I'll never sever
I don't care if your scared
I want you
And I know you want me too
So, let's sit outside together and
Look at the New Moon
I know that we'll be one soon
We'll sit there forever,
Till the Breaking Dawn.
Just you and me,
Out there on the lawn.
And, when the Eclipse comes,
We'll still be together, forever
Until the Twilight

Waiting: a poem written by me

Waiting by Natalie Lynne Gallant

Ok, now I have something to tell you
And please don't laugh'cause if you do,
You just might suffer my wrath
I've been watching you for two years
I've been there to help you through your joys and fears
Your my friend and I am yours
But do you know that I want to be more?
I liked you ever since I first saw you
But I didn't think you'd ever like me too
The fact that you'd like me is like a dream
Something I was unable to comprehend,
A wish that you could lend
But now it's coming true
And I have no clue what to do
When I'm around you,
I don't know what to say
I think of you all day
I get nervous and scared
Yet happy and prepared
I want to be with you
And until I do,I'll be waiting, wanting, liking You
